Default those w/ aem sensor w/ no adapter

so i needed a map adapter overnighted from ragetek. he's been on and never got back to me, so i dont feel confident sending him an extra $20 to ship a part that i dont know when id receive it...so im going to run w/o the adapter for a while..

what are you guys running a source off of? the TB? and how close does the sensor really need to be from source? im sure the closer the better, but if i run off the TB ill be running a good 8" of line to the sensor. not the best, but i shouldnt have to worry all to much correct?

its a 1/8 npt..tap the intake somewhere and walla!!

eeesh. prefer not to do that if i plan on ordering the ragetek adapter. we all know how long it could take from rage...could be next week, or next month. and prefer to not take that chance and wait on it.

any bad side affects on just running a line from the TB to the map sensor for the time being until it shows up?

you can run a line, as long as there are no leaks...you can also run the map sensor you are currently running until you get the adaptor, then just go into the map sensor wizard and change sensors when you get the new adaptor installed
