Default Plotting vehicle speed in AEM Log

I know I'm missing something stupid, but is there a reason why I can't plot vehicle speed in AEM Log?

That's what I'm not seeing - how do you log vehicle speed?

If you're trying to find it from "[Options][List Selection]", or "[Options] [Full List]", try looking for VSS Input, instead!

Yeah it is! I checked to make sure before I said anything.

Are you trying to log with a Laptop, or with Internal Logging?

Unless...assuming you're using your laptop to log, are you displaying Vehicle Speed in the template that is open?

Let's say, for example, You're displaying the Fuel Map, and the parameters are off to the side as is normal when opening the Fuel Map. If you want to log Vehicle Speed, you need to Unlock the Parameters window (click where it says "Locked", and it will Unlock), then go to one of the open spots in the window, and select "VSS Input".

Then begin your logging, and it will log Vehicle speed, along with all the other parameters that are present in that "Parameters" window. If you don't have it displayed, it will not log.

You can make a custom Template to log whatever parameters you wish to log, and you can save it under whatever name you want. Then when you want to log those parameters, just click on "Template", and select your custom template that you saved, and the parameters will appear just as you set them up.

Maybe that's my problem - I thought I had that window open when logging, but maybe I didn't. I was using (or attempting to use) the N2MB template.

I'll have to check on that - thanks Chuck!
