Default interesting thing using lc1 with ems

the 0-5 v analog output was actually pretty close to matching the gauge.with the aem widebnd it always need extra calibration but the lc1 was pretty spot on.i found that interesting...almost delightful

So the LC1 is more accurate than the AEM wideband?

fuck yeah, from what ive seen so far.the problem with the aem is it always takes extra calibration.even with the gain set perfect you still have to adjust the graph.thats one reason why i never trust the internal uego.im not going to go ahead just yet and swear by it unless i do another one and get the same result. the one thing that i did notice but is easily fixed is when you first start it up it runs really rough because the lc1 has to warm up.but you can set the delay time for closed loop so that it doesnt never have an 02 reference in closed loop

Maybe that's why Aaron hooked mine up so easily. Works great. Luv my LC1...never had any probs yet. Probably 2 or more yrs and going strong. I do get the loping on restarts till gauge kicks in. Maybe a more in depth explanation on where to go and what delay to set and I can fix that. Thanks alot.

Even running race fuel mix it's still not too far off yet for me to replace o2.

Race gas affects the accuracy of a wideband? By how much?

go into 02fb time vs temp table and just raise it up.the car i just did with the lc1 i set it to 14 seconds which gives the o2 time to warm up.that table is the delay in seconds until o2fb starts.start on a cold start and time how many seconds it takes for the xd16 to start displaying afr and set it just above that. it will just run on the raw fuel numbers until it reaches that time

Thanks alot. I'll try it out here pretty soon. It's gonna get cold and crappy here soon again. SOB !!

Do I set it to 14 s all the way across the graph? Sorry...I'm just learning this still.

duh its a time vs temp table lol

if the 02 sensor needs extra time to warm up in the cold set it higher at that ect temp.if it takes 8 seconds to start when its 180 then set it to 9 seconds
