Your can buy Rage's map adapter and plug your AEM Map right where your stocker is. Nice billet piece and cleans it up at bit.

The EMS knows the engine speed at all times since it gets the info off of the cam and crank sensors. It just doesn't have an output for hooking up an external tach. I'm sure the hardware itself supports it, since AEM uses different I/O daughterboards with the same actual brain setup. AEM just must not have seen the need to include a tach output since we're still using the factory PCM to drive the stock gauges.

Cut the green plug that went to the factory solinoid and wire the aem solinoid into those wires.

You can do it that way or you can just splice right in to the pin dedicated for the boost control solenoid... i believe the wire is blue with white stripe... and ground it to the chassis...

Thanks for the info guys ^^^ but how do you run the vac lines then?I elminated my solenoids a long time ago...does it matter which wire on my new solenoid goes to which? What im trying to say is...is there a power and a ground wire on my new solenoid or does it not matter they're both the same?Heres the solenoid I have...

Looks like I have two gray wires coming out of this thing,it says "Delco Remy" on the side of it.Im running the TiAl 38mm wga as as well with the two sources for boost on it (top and bottom),which one would I use or would I use both?I was using only the top when I was running a MBC..

If one you guru's have time to send me a PM with some help that would really help me out, lol. Thanks alot for any help I just cant seem to find the answers to my questions on here, thanks again!

You can pull engine speed off serially. But yah, there is no standard tach output. A tach adapter works well and is cheap and relies on the coil firing or something. That is if you don't want to go the serial way.

2 step is a peace of cake to set up:

Setup > Rev Limiters > 2Step Rev Limiter > Options

2Step Input - Switch is Always ON (you can have this switched or turned on at vehicle speed. Its up to you and your needs)
2Step Fuel Cut - 4600 rpm (thats the sweet spot for me right now with slicks)
2Step Ignition Cut - 4600 rpm
2Step OK Below VSS - 6 MPH (turns the 2Step off after 6 mph)

Setup > Rev Limiters > 2Step Rev Limiter > 2Step Rev Limit Wizard

I have mine set to level 1 which gives me about 6 psi when stagging. You can set it higher for more boost. Again, thats a good spot for me right now without spinning the slicks too much.

The way its set up is I mat the gas when stagging, it will be bouncing off 4600 rpm and building about 6 psi. I then drop the clutch and go. The 2Step will automatically shut down after 6 MPH.

I hope that helps

Pap

How do you get the settings to save, for some reason I cant get teh adjustments to save on my file loaded onto the laptop........ And once they do get saved, is it automatically on, or is there an on off switch? Because it would seem as though mine is setup with some basic settings, but I most deffinetly am not running my 2 step now. And what is the Retard Rev set at for you as well?

3]Open the harness of the Orange PCM. Locate the Black wire with dark green stripe. C2-31 is the location if you need it.

4]What I did was cut the black/green wire in half. Connect the PCM side of the wire to the white wire coming from you AEM gauge. Soder and retape the harness[plug back into PCM]

5]Go to Setup/Sensors/O2#1/02 wizard... select AEM Gauge

6]Then check out the volts that the EMS is seeing and make sure they match up to your AEM gauge. You can adjust the gain by Selecting Setup/Sensors/O2#1/options. You can check the volts by selecting Setup/Sensors/O2#1/parameters.

Dont forget to change the cal table from METH to Gasoline a/f. Do this by going to Configure/Units/A-F units/ Af gasoline

so when setting up the eugo gauge what is more important? having the volts read 2.32 with the 02 unplugged from the gauge or have the gauge read more closely to the the ems sees? when i fiddle with the gain to get the 2.32 vovlts (+- .02v) the guage is off from what the ems sees by several tenths.
