Default got it going right...... grrr PCV?

So after much messing with my tune and other stuff i was having a heck of a time getting my idle right... sometimes it was good then other times bad.
After trying to get the car to idle at a stable 600rpm and figured out i had NO control that low...
I pulled the 2 line's off the spacer between the throttle body and mani and pluged them and i had idle control to 500rpm.....
Set the idle at 800rpm and she idles nice and smooth at 14.5 -15ish
I put the hose back on to the PCV valve and it went all outta whack right away. I think it's sticking or something becuase it will idle fine then go way lean and idle will drop or go way up..... Thoughts on that?

well, if its pulling that much air to mess up the tune, is the VC on there tight? might be pulling outside air in. or any other place you could think of?

lol, why would you want to idle that low, stock should be around 700-750 and depending on cams/injectors can go from 800-2000rpm idle

i dont want it to idle that low, but theres times when the car mite bog down that low, prolly from operator error. but id like it to catch and idle back up. instead it dies... This usually happens when idle falls to fast or i let the clutch out slowly with out throttle

there is a whole table to tune just for that, it has nothing to do with the idle%

I had that same problem for a while so it stayed at 900... then one day i played with stuff and it liked 800... i had a throttle body leak but that got fixed a mnth ago....

What table are you talking about nuts??? the idle% table? it seems to do it when my idle starts acting wierd...... Today for instance.. Its 75 out side.
I started the car to let her warm up... once it got warm it idled right at 800 and had a A/F of 14.5 - 15..... idled there for a while(5mins) i blip the gas to 1500rpms. when it settled back at 800 my A/F was around 13... so i let it idle there for a few and blip the gas again. this time when it came back down it was stubling at 800 with a A/F of 16-17.... blip the gas and back to 14.5......... I think i got something mechanically going on.... leaky gasket or something.............. GRRR

hmm sounds like the fuel and timing map need some low end tuning at idle area, if its droping in rpm and the A/F goes lean add some fuel in the lower rpm cells (just like tuning the rest of the map) just make sure your in the correct load cell, once that is close you can go to the idle fuel/ignition feed back and add some fuel and timing in the - numbers to aid in the clutch/stalling issues
