Default Got the car tuned ran awsome till now?

Hey Guys I got my car Dyno tuned on Tuesday we had some fueling issues where the AEM box was saying we were at 100% duty cycle on the RC750's at only 420whp. We figured it was a clogging fuel filter or a weak pump.

I drove the car home and it was running awsome no issues at all. I drove it the next day to work 40kms with out one issue. Driving home and bam as soon as the turbo was starting to spool the car would buck and spit A/F on my gauge would drop to 10. With the bucking and spiting came back fires and it started doing this at cruise to not just in boost. I pulled my plugs and instead of being black from the very rich condition I saw on the gauge they were white from excessive heat and being lean.

How do I post attachments?

oh and it looks like you are running AFR in a methanol calibration and not the setting for gas .... your tuner should have caught this. good luck.

First youll need to switch the a/f units to gasoline. That should have been done by the tuner. Second, your no where near out of fuel. Im betting its in the tune [which is more than just timing and fuel maps]. If its not a mechanical issue, youll need a re-tune

Since your a/f is not reading in gasoline, I take it your not using o2 feedback. I recommend doing so

Edit...I see your map units is in KPA. Did your tuner use his laptop, or yours? If it was his, Im betting its just not setup on yours yet

ok so switched the units to gasoline that solved the O2 BS and I turned on 02 feed back but it still runs like garbage back fireing and shit.

I find it weird that on the dyno and the 120km drive home the car worked great then the next day the car worked awsome as well.It wasnt till the following day when I went to work is when the car started acting up.

anyone want to take a look at my map

Verify that your TPS and Map volts are correct [rule out bad sensor or wiring]. Do a boost leak check. Did you fill up gas after the dyno?

Did you plug in your lap top after the dyno before it started running bad?

I went through all wiring and it looks good all soldered and taped up nice.

How do I know what values are correct on the TPS and MAP?.

Yes I filled up with gas but I also drove 120km home right after with no issues and also drove it the next day with out a problem.

Only connected my laptop when it started running bad no need to other wise right.

Boostleak check is good now that my 1000cc's are gone.

seeing as the car is back firing alot could my timing belt have skipped a tooth? when your getting excessive back fires is it not a timing thing?

backfires usually mean its RICH RICH RICH and or no(or nearly no) spark in a cyl or 2, and unburnt gas is making it to the hot exhaust manifold/turbo. none of your cold or hot side pipes have come off so its not backfiring in the intake side. i would say shitty spark is leaving unburnt gas in the chamber which is being exhausted into the exhast manifold casuing a 'pop'.
