Default EMS tuning ???

I have a local shop that's tuned about 7.3million EMS powered cars, but never an SRT4. I am looking to get a decent tune just to get my car up and running as it is my daily driver. I would LOVE to take my car about 10 hours to the nearest srt ems shop, but I just don't have the time and it'd be a pain to get it down there without it running right!!!

Should I be fine having my local shop tune it for now? I will be slowly learning how to do it myself I just don't have the time right now. I see all the issues with people not having their car idle right or it stalls when they let of the gas.... are these issues srt specific or should they know what is causing it from tuning evo's and STI's and stuff???

just schedule an apt. w/ him.

he tunes in nj and ny. better just to have him do it.

i used his 50trim/cams map, made a few adjustments...and voila..car turned on and idled pretty damn good for a map ment for a smaller turbo/cams.

i proceeded to drive 60mi from the place i installed to home. grnted it needed a little bit of tuning...but that only took like 50mi...good enough to get me around till i would have enough $$ to get tuned.

oh jeez, you're way up there ...

you could always make a trip out of it ... drive down, stay at a hotel, enjoy the area (he lives near a boardwalk with arcades & rides & shit) and then drive home the next day ... 6 hours is a long ride, but if the car can make it then it would definitely be worth it (going to one of the best SRT-4 EMS tuners in the country, perhaps the world)

pm jay & see if he can get you some maps to get the car running well enough to make the trip

God damn, We are in the same boat different country. I live in Canada. I have EMS in my car but the shop I go to has never tuned a srt4 before except mine. Thats why I am having idle issues as well as stalling when I glide to a stop. I REALLY NEED TO FIND SOMEONE AROUND ME THAT HAS EXPERENCE TUNNING SRT4's WITH EMS!!!!!!!!! If you get a great tune with EMS should your idle and start up be perfect even with crane 16's and DCR head????? So if anyone can help me out or suggest me to bring my car to someone in my area that would be great. Once again I live in Ont Canada. Toronto area will be fine. Their must be some one that knows about this shit around here!!!!!!
If thats you PM or better yet call me at 1-905-520-0504 (JimmyT)

P.S. Mods are in my sig if you need to know!!!!
