any "expert" ems tuner should be able to tune the srt4 without too much trouble at all. heck, even someone familiar with software should be able to do it. its not much different than tuning anything else with similar software. i spent 3 hours today tuning a quadrajet carb on a 383 small block chevy in a fj40 toyota. it was really no different than tuning the sidedraft 240z i tuned last week. sure, the parts are different, but the tuning isnt so much

because a properly tuned quadrajet will make just as much power as a typical vacuum secondaries holley and will work awesomely as an off road carb. they will run at almost any angle. there is a reason they are refered to as poor mans fuel injection.

they are just a BITCH to tune

true.......but in real world exsperiance out here where we put 4wd's thru some nasty stuff......i have always had nothing but problems out of quads...i would rather put a small tbi setup on than a quad

could be. i have done some pretty nasty stuff with a quad. it really depends on how well its tuned. im not a fan of tbi either, doesnt flow enough and they are really "dumb" computers, but i just tune what the customer wants...unless i can convince him otherwise. truth be told, if your going to do it, you might as well go all the way. i would have thrown an LS motor in it

ill fly anywhere to tune, doesnt bother me.

on a side note...i was testing something out today with a buddy of mine and testing out how aem responds to remote desktop.like that i can setup up idle and etc and then send them out on a road test to make some logs and get the tune pretty close.im gonna try it out with mebcop and see how it works
