sent ems back to aem and found no problems. Put back in car an it wont connect keeps saying parity error break error, and framing error. went tru all wiring and nothing. even tried on another srt an same thing

Are you using a serial to USB adapter?

I am going to say it is the serial cable or the usb adapter you are using..

i get this sometime but what i do is completely shut down the aem software open it back up go and select the serial port to use and try to connect... works everytime for me... sometimes i have to move the usb to another port..

I had that error too. I made a new user account on my computer and it was all good. I was getting the blue screen of death alot too.
