EMS controlled boost - SRT Forums

I just removed my AVC-r and installed a AEM boost solenoid so I can use the EMS control boost. I noticed something weird when i first turned the key on, the solenoid constantly "clicks". Is this normal?

Hmmm....must be the only one with an AEM boost solenoid.

Sorry.....You can invert it to not click. There are 2 ways to get it set. Search AEM forums for help or any experts here. Realtune set mine up.

if you are asking for boost its going to click..if its setup for vss make sure you are asking for no boost at 0mph. if you invert the signal you will throw off your boost tables and have to retune it.

Im currently tryin to get it to boost of the main map before i go to any feedback menu. Since i dont have any feedback menus tuned on, will it still click until i turn them on?

what is the duty cycle set to at vacuum when its clicking? is it at 0?

yes, its at 0 but it still clicks

if you invert it does it stop clicking? what are the settings at?

Jay, appreciate all the help. Just trying to get the solenoid to stop clicking. Its damn annoying. I dont know what settings you want so i just emailed you my cal file.

figured it out.

My boost duty minimum was at 1.95%. Changed that to 0 and it fixed it right up
