Default EMS cable fix...fast, cheap, and easy

if you can solder then order this
http://www.obd2cables.com/products/p...products_id=44

if you cant you will need this list:
1 of http://www.obd2cables.com/products/p...products_id=49
4 of http://www.obd2cables.com/products/p...products_id=50
1 of http://www.obd2cables.com/products/p...products_id=55

either way it will set you back less than $20 and you should have them in 2-3 days

its what i did and it ROCKS!!!!!

you will have to tear the plastic cover off of the one aem sends you. find the 4 wires and reattach them in the right place.

connect the red jumper lead to the bottom #5 from teh left (when looking at the connector like in the pic
connect the reds to top #3
connect the white to top #2
and connect the black to top #5

easy as pie

I just take the covers off so that they set all the way in... I also remove the factory plug from it's mount and zip tie them together..
I suppose you could just cut the connector off and splice the wires in back of the stock connector and leave it hard wired.. I've done that too..

you basicly wire it to same wires that would touch if you plugged in the connector

guys, im quite sure that the pinnouts are correct. i verified just a minute ago. mine works wonderfully. again the red coming out of the cable top#3 from the left, like at the pic above. white is top #2, black is top #5 and the red jumper goes from top #3 to bottom #5. if it doesnt work, i dont know what ot tell you. mine works just fine and thats how its wired in.

if its not working, its not hard to figure out. look at the connectors, and match with what color wires go where
