ok guys i am kinda new to these boost stratagies, has any one used this and if so how did you like it? my car seems to have allot of part throttle boost (small turbo) i was wondering if this would be a good thing to try and if anyone had any pointers I assume i will need to put in my light spring 8# (have a 16# in now) to keep 8psi as the minimum boost and as for the maps and set up it seams straight forward
I used it for a bit but found that in first and second gear it would just light the tires up.
Im trying to boost by vehicle speed right now, dont have it perfect but i find it works alot better.
yea i hear the speedo boost is tits but my speedo cable did a self destruct so i am looking for an alternative untill i get off my butt to fix it as of now i am using an AEM tru boost and its unpredictable for controlling all but max boost

any pointers for the set up

The Cobalt firmly grabs you and whisks you along your way instantly.
It does so with authority and poise, but while slipping relatively unnoticed through traffic,
never being violent, or dare I say it, frightening. When you ask the SRT-4 to take you somewhere fast,
it punches you in the face, throws you over its shoulder, and runs, screaming,
so quickly that its tires can barely keep up
The hardest part will be setting up your "Boost Target Comp Table". After that, it will be very easy to set up your "Boost Target RPM-TH map".
If you search around on one of the threads in this section (I think it was in regards to Speed Based Boost), you'll find a few good posts about how to set up your Boost Target Comp Table. Jay from N2MB and myself gave a couple of examples on how to do it.

if youa re using boost by vss you dont need to use the rpm th map. you can set the entore base wg duty map to 50% and use the target comp table to tune each breakpoint. note of advice though when you are tuning it turn of proportional and integral controls to eliminate correction while you are doing it. if you want to fine tune it after you set your target comp table you can go into the base duty cycle table and increase/decrease duty cycle at lower rpms to help spool up without affecting stability in the higher rpms.once you ave those tables set you can turn on p&i controls and use them at minimal values
