yeah for the stock solenoid its......turbo housing to bottom port on wastegate.....put a t in that line......from the t to middle port on stock solenoid......top port on solenoid to top port on wg......holds boost great.....i have a aem solenoid sitting here.....the only reason i will swap it is to put an fittings on everything later on

onthedownlow.... It appears that the input on the stock solenoid is the top port not the middle??? Did you try it the other way?

I ran the middle port to my wastegate, and the top port to my boost pressure source, and can't get it to run anything lower then 20+psi. Any thoughts?

05plsrt4...how is your AVCR hooked up, and why isnt it working for you?

if your boost is always oscillating, lower your feedback to 4-5.

if it always overshoots boost, turn off learn gear. if it still continues, youre duty cycle is too high.

i had a hell of a time running the avcr right, but i finally got it how i want. full traction in 2nd (1st will be useless, even at my 11psi spring).

if you need help w/ the AVCR, or my settings, pm me.

the stock solenoids w/ the aem is free, but the AVCR is already in there, so might as well give it a try...

this oscillation is it correctable?

would i decrease my boost duty as i reached my ultimate psi?

for instance just the load side -2.95in/hg 99.6 duty and taper down from there

to be honest to try and explain it in one post is really hard but if you are inclined enough to know what you need to know to efficiently control boost then i would do some studying on proportional and integral control. this is really important information to know.the boost duty table is a base value that the ecu looks to reference for boost control.so it will look at that two dimensional table before it looks at anything else.if the duty cycle is too low you wont hit target boost unless your error gain multiplier is set high enough to compensate for it.if the duty cycle it too high the you will overshoot target and it will oscillate boost control furiously .so like i said ic ouldnt give you an exact number of what you need but to make it a little easier you will need extra gain during spool up and ramped down heavily as you approach target boost.when you hit target boost you mod out should be close to zero.once you are close start paying attention to the boost drop off and use the error duty table to keep the boost there.its alot simpler to do than to type.do lots of logging and you wont have a hard time figuring it out yourself
