Default Anybody running an ignition box with there EMS?

Hey guys,im doing some research and im trying to find out who all is running an ignition box with there EMS.The reason I ask is...I got tuned yesterday and the car from time to time seemed to studder mid to up top RPM's.Not really breaking up,just studdering while I was on the dyno.My tuner was telling me that some AEM boxes do it and others dont and that the way to fix the problem is to invest in an ignition box.I see that MSD makes one as well as Realtune,im not trying to blow $500 on an ignition box but shit I will if I have to.Is there one in particular that maybe you guys could suggest would be a good mate with the AEM EMS?I was also just reading the sticky in this forum about the coil dwell settings supposed to be at 30,im not sure what mine are at right now but that could definitely be part of the problem, right?Like always any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks alot!

Just that m7 is prob all you would need for your power level. Atleast this is what I have been told.

Some people have told me that as well, but others say running 2 nozzles is the way to go.I dont have any knock right now,im only going to eliminate the M5 if I have problems with tuning once I get back on the dyno on Friday.

You dont need an ignition box for your setup.

Its either going to be the tune or plug gap IMO

aftermarket ignitions are a strange subject because they are not realy a power adder or a performance part (IMO) but as you pass 2 atm of pressure it acts as a resistor between the plug and weakens spark dramaticaly. add an over rich mixture to that and the flame propigation slows and robs you of power that is being wasted. using a good ignition can make tuning alot easier and prevent cold plugs from fouling. If you do decide to use one remember to switch the dwell wizard to cd ignition (i think its the second from the top of the list) or your ems box will melt, and select a good box 145mj or above or your just wasting money
