I need help! i have sent my box back and it is still doing the same problems.
symptoms... (note it will start and drive wonderfully on stock ecu)
1. The car will crank and crank but not turn over
2. In the cam sensor area (not sure where this is, shop that i am having tuning it showed me) it is showing no reading. not even a small movement in numbers.
3. I remove the sensor with stock ecu it still starts but goes into "limp mode"
4. I put the sensor back on reset stock ecu and it runs beautiful.
SO i know the sensor works!
Is there a setting i must change to get this aem box working on my car???
thanks in advance
Matt'!~

have you had the vehicle running prior to this on the ems
Yes it was running and then it stopped thats when we sent it back to aem.
yes there is a start up map loaded
I have also tried 4 other maps found on here
is the fuel pump turning on? manually crank the motor with the key in the on position and see if the pump turns on. That will tell u if the cam sensor is working.

Yes, the stock ecu will look for a crank AND a cam signal before it will re-energize the Fuel Pump relay. If the pump comes on WHILE cranking the cam signal is getting to the stock ecu. Note: the intial pump run when the key is on before cranking is automatic and NOT associated with the cam/crank signal
And yes of course the EMS uses the cam signal.
