AEM and TIP sensor?

Damn search and not letting me use three letter words.

I'll keep it short.

Have stage 2, sold it because I'm getting the AEM EMS and putting the stock PCM and AEM 3.5 bar Map sensor and AEM Boost Selinoid (s?) in.

Question: Does the AEM need the TIP sensor hooked up to a boost/Vac source? I have all my stock Vac lines disconnected and would rather not have to fuck with it and hook it back up unless I have to (its still plugged in to power of course).

yes aem does not use the tip....and actually really neither does the stage computers......its just something stupid
