drmcatcher, havent gotten it fixed. my comp is at aem for some repairs so im down and out at the moment. i noticed that you wired up your wideband. where did you plug that into the comp at? i read c2, im assuming that you plug that into the AEM box, but doesnt that plug have a wire from the factory wiring harness already into it? did you cut that wire and send the new one in? did you tap into it? or did you wire it into the green connector? do tell
tapped into c2-31 then programmed the AEM to expect a linear curve from 0v(7.39) to 5v (22.39) from the LC-1. I tried to disassemble the connector but ended up saying F-THAT and a bit of solder and shrink wrap saved the day. It works really well!
yeah, i know exactly how hard it is to break down those plugs. it takes a long time if you dont want to break anything. but thats good to know. i was wondering exactly how you did it

I spent a good 2 hours to try to do it right started to get frustrated and decided i was about to get it or break it .. I chose to put it back together breaking it woulda sucked.
oh yah one more thing:
I get a horrible jerkiness occuring at 2% throttle when the injectors get cut then the throttle pops above 2.01 its gets gas again ... any hints on how to fix this? happens at 25 mph going down a slight grade with nearly no throttle in gear
The car wouldnt turn on. When I connected to the ECU via the laptop I tried to send calibration and to adjust anything I need to adjust and when I tried to turn on the car no luck. I'm not sure if I actually have all the settings correct during the calibration.
or did i miss read your post. could you not connect? if you cant connect even after turning the key off then back on, call AEM at 310-484-2322 then hit 2 on the menu. you will be talking to henry over there. but lets see if we can get you running now
does the car crank? it will take several seconds to fire up. keep cranking for a bit before you give up.
I did connect but I wasn't able to get the car started. The car doesn't even turn over like it was going to start. I put my stage 1 back in to see if it turns on and yes the car turned on. I am using the Stage 0 pcm with the EMS.
Here is the steps I followed.
1. installed the AEM
2. plugged the harness to both the EMS and the PCM
3. I connected via laptop and I sent the calibration. There is 3 calibrations available I sent the one that says STOCK
4. Made injector adjustments, MAP sensor adjustment and that was it.
Then car just dont crank over.
These 3 calibrations are available. Which one should I use?
1500 Press Comp.V1.19
1500 Stock MAP.V1.19
1510.V1.19

the 1510 is the srt-4 map .. the 1500 maps are viper maps
So only use the 1510 map.
You are not getting the car to turn over So I would start by suspecting the STOCK ecu .. is this the OEM original, the one that came in your car, or flashed ECU ? what happens when you plug the stage 0 in without the AEM EMS and conversely what happens when you plug the AEM EMS and the STAGE 1 in .... I'm betting that your stage 0 isnt the one that came with the car and the AEM/stage1 combo should work fine .. remember the stock( whether that be the stage 0 or better) ECU is responsible for core electronic functions .. like dash board, lights etc and most importantly, in this case, security.
This isn't to say that a s0 ECU wont work .. but since you can't flash them("can't" isnt really true BUT legally those that can flash ECUs cannot legally flash stage0 ECUs), so they need to be the ORIGINAL one that came with the car. The ECU will do a vin check on start signal from key switch and if the last several digits are not what it expects it will only let you play the stereo till the battery dies.. no start signal will come from the ecu. Since the stage 1 worked with the AEM EMS out of the loop I'm pretty confident that it will work in loop as well, meaning we know ithas been correctly flashed with the VIN. Try this IF IT DOESNT work contact AEM immediatly
