He found some info that says that the MOPAR 3 bar does not read below 10 in vacuum. That the scale was moved up to make it a 3 Bar but this took away from the vacuum.

you can run the mopar one , but you won't be able to control your vacuum much

the cut points are -10.92 to 28.96 .. while others are -14.40-25.28 ( still 3 bar)

reason why you want a lower vac range , is so you can fine tune the idile , as well as fine tune the decel ( look at the decel vac settings in the stock cal of aem vs mopar stage 3 applied cal to that map, look at the decel vac )

i can keep going but i am on limited time , my car runs good with the mopar map sensor, prob is, I can't control the fuel in decel to neutral ( car goes pig rich , no matter how the decel, and defco are setup , including the boost comp map)

that makes sense...damn it. my list of parts keeps growing and my budget is non-existant until the end of the semester. im tapped out of fuel (daetchwerks 750's can only supply 20psi worth of boost, who knew?) and need to get a dyno tune so i dont have to keep doing it on the street. i know im going to get nailed by teh cops one of these days

that doesn't sound right
20lb and out of fuel??

RC 750's a 50 trim at 28lb of boost is plenty of fuel..

did you change your boost comp map at all?

the dwerks 750's are rated at 750 at opperating pressure in the srt...so it is roughly at 650, or so i have heard.

boost comp map? not sure. how exactly do i go about doing that, and what exactly is a boost comp map.

lagzilla, im running the stock regulator with a walbro pump and the bigger injectors. that is it fuel wise

You have to change your stock regulator to one that uses a rising rate based on a boost source after the TB. This way you can adjust for lower or higher fuel pressure when needed, especially under boost. Sometimes at idle too you can drop the fuel pressure too to lean it out.
For instance if you are at 45PSI of fuel pressure when not in boost, a 1:1 regulator will add 1psi of fuel pressure for every pound of boost. So at 25PSi your fuel pressure will be 70 and not 45.

i know, i just dont want to setup an auxilary fuel system. i have done it on our race cars in the past, as well as many boosted cars, but i dont want to spend the time/energy on my own. i would rather just run larger injectors and call it a day.

Ok. Sorry, hope I did not sound condescending. But you should put the time and effort into Your car. I know, time and money. Most people would not believe how much it cost to setup the fuel system on Project Blue.

hahaha, no worries. my big concern is that i want it to be simple. i like the stock look, and the simpleness of having the ability to go back to stock if i want. i like having a near 400hp car that looks stock. its been my goal since i bought the car. also, i have to keep the "aftermarket" look down because of the cops...im NOT going back to stock. i will sell the car before going back

Yeah CA sucks for the aftermarket look. My goal has always been to void the warranty and intimidate by appearance and performance. We are fortunate the laws here in FL are not like CA when modifying our cars.

thats the thing about the aem, it wont let you overdrive the injector. what the max duty cycle it will let you know, i dont know, but i am assuming its only like 80 or so. if anyone knows for sure, or how to change it so i can use more fuel, please let me know

oh and this snail uses tons of fuel. i didnt max out my s1 injectors on teh stocker at 20psi, but im done with these 750's at 20psi...somthings not right. 577-750 same boost? thats a HUGE jump in cfm from the snail. im wondering if its in the settings as running a maximum duty cycle that is conservative.

i have seen guys running more than 400 on the rc650's, but i know im not at 400 yet and i have tapped out mine (which are suppose to be close to the same size). somthing isnt right

those guys are generally running 1:1 FPR's

without it, you'll max those out at about 380hp with an 80% duty cycle

another option you might consider if you want to keep looking stock is using an S3R FPR. i'm not sure how much le-way you have at idle and cruise with the AEM, but you might be able to dial back the 650's enough even with 75psi in the fuel system, but have MUCH more fuel up top
