Thanks for the good info Tex. I know that Dan and I found out that Stage 1 gets rid of codes but slightly disrupts tuning. When I used Stage 1, Dan's stage 0 car pulled 15whp more than I did. We had almost the identical setup. We're wondering if it will be the same with the AEM EMS.
Nick is almost positive the 15whp loss was from your big rims. Dan had on stock 16inch rims when he dynoed.

yes, unfortunately there is a CEL. though, its only as tough as pulling that lamp out (which i will be doing here soon!!!). just got back from a good spirited drive of "datalogging" and am happy to say that my AFR's are safe. we are looking in the 11's-13's, 14 at idle. this was after we pulled MAJOR fuel!!!!! now that im not scared to get on the throttle im going to be playing around with some boost settings as well as the traction control. i will also be smoothing out my fuel curve (its pretty erratic). once fuel is done, i will begin on the timing.
it does have an autotune mode where you enter in your ideal AFR's and it will accomidate, but i havent activated it yet for 2 reasons. 1. dont know how yet (this software is EXTENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 2. rather learn the software and how to do it myself rather than have the comp do it all. though i will probably enable it here eventually.
blow off valve sounds weird...dont know if its the car or the tune (assuming the tune because its solenoid control and the comp controls the solenoid).
wire that leads from the comp to the car connects to the OBD2 port, and the connection is very WEAK. it falls out if you look at it wrong. AEM will be getting a call from me this week about that!!!
boost comes on hard, but wasnt really driving it that hard. needed to make sure i wasnt going to go BOOM first. the car doesnt feel that fast, but again with teh rough tune at best, and my lack of courage i cant say for certain. we will know here soon though.
software is great and super easy to use, although there is sooooooo much to know. all in all, a great mod and one that im glad to have invested in.
i think i would have prefered to have gotten teh non-uego (notice cheaper) version and run an AEM UEGO gauge. this can be wired in to the comp very easily and can run the exact same as the uego one. the benifit is that you ahve a gauge you can watch at all times to make sure everything is legit. the reason i didnt is because i want to look stock, and a wideband o2 gauge sitting in the open isnt very stock looking.

Damn Tim, how come we didint think of this b4 lol. That makes all the sence lol.

It works great, but is very very slow. A dyno is almost a must to auto tune. The main reason is you will have to hold it at almost every cell on the table. Also it will only tune the fuel table. You will still have to build your own timing map.
Guys I have been tuning the EMS for about 4 years now. I am a AEM certified EMS tuner as well a 1900 race box dealer. I am not here to make a buck guys. Only here to help. If any of you have a question feel free to drop me a PM.
yeah i know about the autotune, thats why im doing it myself.
anyone running the stock surgevalve/mopar BOV with this system? that darn BOV sounds like crap now. according to the instructions its "idle3". now this circut is a 1.5 amp circut. im assuming its overdriving the solenoid. anyone know what amperage should be going to the factory surge valve solenoid?
I'm gonna bring you Dan's BF Drags on PT steelies when you tune my car. I don't want to tune on the 19s. Also, I will drive the 500 miles to break the motor in and bring it back the following day I'm getting a little newvous about that big turbo/100 shot/AEM EMS setup.
