I installed my Mopar 3bar map sensor this weekend, well it made my car lobe... sounded badass but i;m sure its not suppose to do that, then the exhaust fumes started smelling real bad(yea weird). I'm running the stock pcm, any idea as to why my car would do this? or should i upgrade my pcm?
how am I suppose to take you serious with a S/N of cacahead...

yea buddy you need to take that map off. if your running a stock pcm your only going to run lean up top and eventually add a couple of vents to the block. you need a stage 2 or stage 3 pcm to use a mopar 3 bar map sensor.
you fail. the stock PCM is not calibrated for the range the 3 bar map puts out. You have two options, put the stock sensor back in or install a stage 2 or stage 3 PCM.

On a serious note, its only bad if you only run the 3 BAR map sensor and not the TIP. You won't see the 50whp gain on only the 3 bar map, you need the 3 bar tip also

yea i put the stock map sensor back on, i was sure the car wasn't suppose to lobe like that. And the only reason i bought the 3 bar was because i put my boost controller on, and my CEL came on with an oveboost code.
