I know I am flooding you guys with a lot of new parts and information, but I can't help it.
We just released this.
You can purchase SilverStar Lighting through your local Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep dealer for most vehicle applications.
The PN for the SRT-4 and Neon is P0009007ST.
The MSRP is $27.00 each.
Little bit of data... just pulled this copy from our bulletin to the dealers.
Whitest — SilverStar halogen's color temperature is a white hot 4000°K, far higher than other halogens on the market and comparable to HID bulbs.
Brightest — SilverStar halogen shines with a luminance of up to 20 percent greater than other halogen bulbs.
Sharpest — A sharp profile, silver tip, and amethyst blue coating create a dramatic, high-end, crisp, clean look.
The result of SilverStar halogen technology is an entirely new nighttime driving experience and one you'll want to share with your customers. SilverStar halogen bulbs are more expensive than standard halogen, but they're worth the price — seeing is believing. And SilverStar halogen bulbs meet all Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108 requirements for optimal safety.
Hey guys. Uniq jsut faxed me the dealer brochure the other day and I read over it. I've been in the tuner scene for about 4-5 years and wish to put my input in here. I know a lot of you may look at the price and think, "I can get those APC bulbs for less than that". Let me fill you in on those bulbs. Yes, they do look good, but not near as good or bright as the SilverStars. I have yet to get these on the SRT-4, but will be shortly. I do know how good these have looked on various other cars. As they say, they are definately better than any ricer rip-off APC junk. I can speak from experience on running the APC bulbs. I had them in my 99 Ford ZX2 for about a year and I agree they were WAY better than stock, BUT after a year of being installed, the right side light stopped working and when I removed to check the bulb, I found they COOKED the connector. I then read closely on the box and found the warning that said something like: These bulbs draw excessive voltage and may cause damage to wiring. Blah blah blah. I found out APC won't help with repair and they "suggest" replacing your headlamp wiring before installing their bulbs. Anyways, just my 2 cents. Thanks for listening.
Silverstars are good quality bulbs. However I've read and seen how the differences between stock halogens and Silverstars are minimal. So it doesn't justify (for me) to pay $40-$50 for a slight change.

Thats why I'll save my pennies for an HID kit.:p
look one post up ^^^^
i'd beg to differ .. differance is night and day .. the stock bulbs are yellow and dirty .. the siverstar's are crisp , clean and very bright white.. and you can get them for $30 shipped in 2-3 days .. not $50

they are the very same , i had them sitting in my closet , i figured i better sell them now before mopar steals my thunder
only 65 watts , they are the same wattage as the oem bulbs .. the bulbs in the picture on the right are the factory ones.. the same company make our factory bubls , as well as the ones mopar is going to be selling .. i just got a hook up at osram sylvania
These ARE nice though. I have them on my car now[9006's], and they did help a bit although my nasty old style yellowing plastic headlight housings are blocking a lot of the light... it's still clearly better than normal halogens.
I got them from a dealer on ebay called SUV Concepts. I forget how much but it was under 50 for a pair, plus a 10 dollar rebate[although I still havent recieved it so who knows..]
Only problem with those guys is that shipping took 3-4 weeks which really bugged me. Had a hard time contacting them and when I put a little nastiness into my 3rd email they emailed me back and said I never emailed them. So aside from the attitude I'd say the service was alright since the price was right..

Read my post above. I never said SilverStars were no good. I said "the difference is minimal". Look at the pic again. Not exactly night and day..no pun intended.
Hey if you like'em...whatever. Fine with me. Just not enough difference for me to fork over $30 like you said.
