I'm running a 21" monitor bow down! BJ I would buy this kit hands down. Find an aftermarket company to give you a rough, really rough estamate of how much it would cost to produce say 200 kits I think that would be a good starting number. I'd safely say you'd sell 200 kits easily and post that rough price back to us then regauge the interest.

BJ,

I don't know how else to show you and DCX that there would be more than enough demand for this kit than just reading this thread. I love it and would buy it. There are many more people out there that either don't know about this forum or haven't posted yet that would love it too.

Let us know if your getting the vibe that we all want this. Thanks again for all the great information and effort you put into this forum.

Sorry not feeling it!

the wing has got to go, the roof scoop belongs on a rally car (then it would look good) on the street it looks gay. Unless the car comes with more power to turn them, I don't like big rims.

The rest of it is cool tho.

But thats just me, I'm pretty "anti-rice". I'm all about working good first, looking good second (or never, sleepers are cool).

WTF....

That car looks hideous. I could understand a mild body kit but that looks strait out of TF&F! That thing is pure rice. I dont understand how so many people can like that. 19 inch rims!!! WTF lets make the car slower while we rice it up. Maybe its just because im a DSM guy and my car came sexy from the factory.

And thats soo badass that you can drop the SRT-4 engine into a neon. Sleeper!

I really really would like to know if a 2g n/a DSM would be able to swap that puppy in since they came with the 420a. That would be pretty cool. Mopar DSM.

Also anyone knoe if it would fit into an avenger or stratus?

your joking right man? LOL your such a ricer.

No one can really beleive that. The roof scoop is used in rally cars to COOL DOWN THE DRIVER AND CO DRIVER! Not for downforce, not for cools looks. Good god. FWD cars do NOT need roof scoops rear wings, wide bodies, or 19 inch rims so why put such thing on a performance car???

your talking about and old style neon right? cause they already make a neon with the SRT eng.,....it called the SRT-4!

Just takeing a wild guess, I'd say you could put an SRT eng. in a DSM. The eng. mounts from the DSM you mentioned should work, if the manifolds don't hit anything. Then you will have to build a wireing harness or use a stand alone EFI system.

The same should apply to the avenger/stratus. Now that i think of it, didn't the evenger come with the mitsu 2.0 N/A? You could also build up a bad ass 4G63 for one and build a wireing harness for it.

sorry for bringing this off topic.

the engine mounts backwards between the 2 cars (neon/eclipse). they face opposite directions.

the N/A eclipse/talon/avenger/sebring are all 420a.....and they mount the same directions.....if you want to turbo one of these cars go look at Hahn Racecraft.

the 19s are exagerrated. those rims arent made in 19s and even if they were they would be lighter than stock. the 18" 1p or whatever which is basically just like those only wieghs 15 lbs. the 17" wieghs 12.5. its called hot die forging. as far as the body kit goes thats your opinion. and i think its safe to say that if it wasnt for f&f this car would had never been built. you say you can understand a mild body kit. if you ask me it is a mild body kit. its still easily recognized. i think the kit looks good and for as much as i hate rice i would love to have that kit. does the kit serve a purpose. no but niether does most body lines put on cars today. its eye candy. and it sure does taste good!

oh and wings are mounted on fwd cars for the same reason they are mounted on rwds. to keep the rear planted. most the time they are not functional since noone really goes all that fast. but do 150 with no wing and then with wing and you will feel a difference.

well i have some good news for all of us srt owners......actually i need some input from you guys......going to be making a full body kit for the srt, which will be sold through aerotrends here in jacksonville. the front of the kit is going to retain the nostrils, but other than that will be completely redesigned, new side skirts, rear bumper, maybe fender flares/wide body...... give me some ideas.......pics/photochops would be good as well as ideas......i'll keep you up dated asfar as the development of the kit goes
