i was launching at 4k and kinda slipping it outa the hole.im not sure what the tire pressure was maybe 17psi and no i was not wot shifting probably should have tho.
almost all day i kept missing 3rd gear pissed me off.i thought i should have a higher mph than that,my friend has pretty much same bolt ons minus the turbo and exhaust mani and his mph is the same as mine.im gonna get a scanguage to monitor my knock and timing.

Dude i didn't know you were only launching it 4k with slicksAs for missing third it happens to everybody.Have you been whatching what your boost is doing on the street in like a third gear pull?If you haven't changed it then thats probably what you were running at the track.

lol..yah i was launching her at 4k.i dont know if i was just nervous about getting a good time when i would roll up to the tree and wouldn't pay attention when i would go down the track or what, but when i would be on the back road i would get on it in 2nd and hit 3rd every time lol..i think my boost is about 21 spike and holds 14psi.

Id drop the tire pressure down some! I launch mine at 4k, i run between 11 and 13psi in my slicks cold and do a fairly good burn out..... i cut 1.7s all the time, and wot shift every gear it does help a lot!

Track prep is a big part of it. If you go during time trials when there are big slicked cars running you will drop atleast 1.5 tenths off of your 60 ft.

Um he won't get that much off his 60ft at our local track. It's a nice track but they keep prep to a minimum on TNT night as there are to many hillbillys who bring they're dirty farm trucks out and try to better there 18 sec times. The best time to go down here is right after memorial & labor day as they have extremly good track prep those days.

with all due respect, and i do mean with all due respect(its in the geneva convention)-you ran a 12.9x on a stock turbo and you're upset? even on slicks thats a great time. get some practice in and you'll be running 12.5x's.
