Ok guys well the last time i went to the track was back in April of 2007 and I cut a personal best e.t. at Cecil County of a 13.6 at 106mph. I than trapped a 107 a week later at ATCO for my highest trap to date. These were all done on my Kumho ASX All Season Tires.
So this brings us to this past Saturday. First run comes up and i decided to run it for the first time with the cutout closed and decided to not even bother touching the tires, so all 4 at 32-33psi pretty much like I drove it there:
R/T................... .830
60'.................... 2.553
330................... 6.353
1/8................... 9.473
MPH.................. 80.19
1000................. 12.062
1/4................... 14.288
MPH.................. 102.66
2nd run I woke up a little but still sucked and went with 26psi in the fronts and 38psi rears and did this:
R/T................... .317
60'.................... 2.194
330................... 5.995
1/8................... 9.082
MPH.................. 80.93
1000................. 11.658
1/4................... 13.865
MPH.................. 103.51
3rd run I thought let's switch lanes and that did nothing for me anyway:
R/T................... .400
60'.................... 2.233
330................... 6.084
1/8................... 9.155
MPH.................. 82.41
1000................. 11.702
1/4................... 13.922
MPH.................. 102.81
and finally the 4th run I grew some, lowered the tires to 24/40psi respectively, went back to my old lane, launched it and ran this:
R/T................... .213
60'.................... 2.153
330................... 5.803
1/8................... 8.788
MPH.................. 83.36
1000................. 11.349
1/4....................13.52
MPH.................. 105.02
So pretty much I reached my first goal I had set out to achieve and that was running a 13.5 with the stock trans/ motor mounts, no tune with a conservative boost 16psi spike, and lastly on all season 215/50/17 Kumhos, compared to the likes of a sticky performance tire ala KDW-2 or Azenis RT, or even radials/ slicks.
Let me know what you guys think. I know it still is pretty slow but I am always leary since it is my only car, and I have to keep that in mind when racing it.

i am def looking into the wot box as we speak... e town is def pretty far i went there this summer to see the NHRA drags and it was awesome.. i usually do atco and one time did cecil.
Good runs, I would bring the boost up a little when you get to the track and bring it back down before you leave. Its will give you more of a performance bump without having to spend any money on speed parts.

that i might actually try. i was also thinking of adding a manual boost controller so that the boost will hold longer till redline

Honestly save your money and get something else, you wont hold anymore boost til redline with an MBC than what the AGP WGA Holds. Its more of an issue of the turbo not being able to keep up with the high rpms than the WGA not being able to hold boost. If your holding 15psi or so your fine.

x2
If you're holding 15/16ish psi till redline thats about all your're going to be able to hold. A MBC won't help.
Crank your WGA up to 17-18psi and with a 106-108 trap you should be able to click off a 12 on slicks.
