Default Traction sucks on 19s

So i went to the track for the first time.
I WASNT going for reaction time. I was focused on getting these 19s to go. My 19's wouldnt stop wheel hopin and spining throu first.

.7858 RE
2.1792 60ft
5.9243 330ft
8.9632 1/8
80.90 1/8 mph
11.6151 1000ft
92.82 1000mph
13.8723 1/4et
11.19 1/4mph

I did one were i was going for reaction time and it was .0142 so i gues i coulda got a 13.1 and if i get rid of the hop maybe 13 or 12.9 right????
My mods are AEM EMS. I tried the 2step but there was way to much wheel hop.

I don't know what you're complaining about, a 2.17 60ft is good for street tires, there is nothing wrong with your time, most guys would kill for that 60ft and 330 on street tires.

Reaction time doesnt really affect your 1/4mile time.

what was your mph? 111.9 or 111.19 maybe?

If it's 111 mph, which I doubt it is, since your 1/8 is only 80.9, and your 1000 is 92.82. you suck at shifting most likely. The 2.17 60' is very good for a fwd car on 19's. I'm guessing it's 101.19. In which case, thats a pretty good time. For reference I've ran a 13.0 @ 102 with slicks(not my best time, but just showing what that trap speed is capable of)

Well i mite suck at shifting but i was the fastest SRT-4 there. most ran 14.5 to 15.5's there were a few stg2 there also running slow times. Infact i think i was one of the fastes FWD cars there on that day. However there was a evo that ran a 11.5, First time out with the car. How does Reaction time not effect you 1/4mile time? i thought when the light turn green the timer started??? There was someone on here who said a 1.9 on street tires is possible. I do have the AEM EMS with many many option's to help get me there

Ditch the 19's... you will have a damn hard time, every time trying to get traction on a tiny ass sidewall like a 35 series or 30 series that you are probably running with those 19's

and why are you worried about your reaction time???

you could have sat at the line for 2 whole seconds, hell, a whole minute, and still run a 13.8... your reaction time has nothing to do with your ET unless you are bracket racing...

Ohhh i didnt know rection time didnt effect your overall 1/4mile time. My bad. I dont go to the track too often cuz its a 45min drive. I just usually do rollons on the highway at 1am cuz i live in a small town
When i get my 50trim ill get slicks.

Not bad 60' for those big ass wheels. I'd like to get a 1.7 () on street tire's. I did back to back 1.8's.

Your time is fine, actually pretty good. If it was 111 mph, which I don't think it was, you haven't confirmed that it was only 101, then your shifting would have sucked because your 60' is good, but your ET would've been terrible for 111 mph. Either way, if it's 13.8 @101 with a 2.17 60' thats a pretty good time. 19's are heavy and have a tiny sidewall, both kill times.
