Default SRT-4s at NE Dragway. First time running

Just got back tonight from NE Dragway. Ran the car for the first time tonight.
Met quite a few of the Forum people, Very helpful. Car is an 05 black SRT weighing in at 3075 on the nose with me in it.

Here are my best 3 runs.

R/T .614 .728 .749
60' 2.331 2.346 2.242
330 6.159 6.189 6.114
1/8 9.238 9.272 9.212
MPH 80.28 80.19 79.45

1000 11.877 11.902 11.853

1/4 14.128 14.150 14.108

MPH 99.49 99.81 99.88

Car is bone stock with 2k on it and I could not get any traction for the life of me with a launch anything over 1k RPM. Even Feathering the clutch I ran a 14.3 and a 14.4 because the tires blew off in 1st and most of second gear.

This car needs DRs BAADD. I need to get the power to the ground and probably drop in a K&N and I will see If I can run 13.7s and 13.8s in a couple weeks.

I did see you there with a few other forum members in the staging lanes. The SRTs made a good representation that night despite the 100s of mustangs ALL OVER THE PLACE . unfortunately I figured out yesterday after being home for a day and looking at my timeslips that by deflating my front tires down to 22lbs from reg 42 I lost almost 1/2 of a MPH and got bad second gear wheelspin so I wont do that again. For some reason those KDWs like full pressure on my car. I also had 3/4 of a tank of gas. I am going to try to make it this Friday if its not hot and I will only have 1/4 tank of gas and take out the spare tire and jack and see if that can buy me 13.9s at over 100 MPH. I think that would be a good starting point for the car before I put on some DRs, drop in a K&N and possibly try the spring mod for the last couple of months the track is open. With those few little changes and some improved short time technique I hope to be running mid to low 13s at over 103. We will see only time will tell. I am thinking of putting a mapclamp on the car and renting an hour at NE Dyno in Worcester. Is there any chance I could get some assistance in adjusting it on my car If I get an hour of Dyno Time?
