first time out to the strip with my 47lb'er was 12.4 at 115 on drag radials. no hom on 93 octane. got an intercooler, turboback exhaust w/cat and all other stock s-3 stuff. just put on my agp wga a few days ago and my toybox 2.0 is going on tomorrow before work. i'll throw in the highest octane unleaded i can get and hope some drag strip around me is still open this weekend. still stock clutch though wish me luck and good weather.
are most of you guys just doing regular shifts? or are you WOT shifting? i wanna get in the 12's with street tires but i am not going to risk my tranny just to try and shift faster...

who cares seriously ... just wot it .... thats what this car was really mad for ( abuse ) i got 50k and i had the car since day 1 with original axle and trans still on ... and i still wot all day everyday

on street tires or even drag radials wheelspin was uncontrollable when wot shifted. when i wot shifted 2nd to 3rd, third spun through the whole gear. when speed shifted it gripped through the whole gear. which way do you think is the faster way down the 1/4.

Slick passes were launched around 4-4300, wot shifted every gear! Tire pressure cold @11psi on the 11.9 pass, cold press@10psi on the 12.1 pass
Weight redux no back seat, pass seat.
All pcm controlled boost, stock s3 wga, stock s3 fuel pump.
Drag Radial pass was cold tire pressure @16psi, launched 3k slip of the clutch, wot shifted 3rd, didnt wot shift 4th, cause it was all over the track!
