Default Popped the cherry..

Well it was my first time ever doing legal racing at he track and I think I did okay for the first time out. Numbers are below of my best run..

r/t: .744 (who cares)
60 ft: 2.168 on stock BFG street tires
330: 5.920
1/8: 8.935
1/8 mph: 82.65
1000 ft: 11.524
1/4: 13.718
1/4 mph: 102.41

Can anyone tell me about what whp I should be around with this time? Here are the supporting mods I have for the car..

Kinetic WG:Spike 19lbs and fell quick to 14 at redline, but had crazy boost leaks I found the next day, Ebay short ram, fake Ebay Greddy RS with Hahn RC Adapter, lower hardpipe (where the leaks were coming from) and full TBE with custom single Apexi N1 exhaust. What was crazy when I did the leak test the next day it would not pressurize the system at all, that is how bad it was leaking from the lower hard pipe.. I tightened it up and there were leaks in the coupling coming off the turbo itself, the up pipe where I put the adapter and in a couple of Vaccum lines.. Makes me wonder what I should have ran with no leaks.. O well

I actually have the E1 coming this week, I have a PTP ported Mani waiting also and an AGP return line coming from a guy in Canada this week.. Hope to make 12's next trip with some slicks or radials. Any info/suggestions would be appreciated..

Pretty solid run for the first time out. i'd guess your making 250ish to the wheels. Slicks will help alot. You should be able to lower that sixty to a 1.7 or 1.8 on the slicks.

sweet man.. I actually ordered some MT ET Drag Slicks today from summit and just gonna get some steelies or something.. Now that I found my boost leaks it is kind of late since I am putting in the E1 this weekend.. So we will see what happens with that addition.. Thanks

Went back to the strip last Friday after fixing the boost leaks.. The previous week I hit two 13 second passes, last week I only hit a 14.0 once.. Most were 13.9's and 13.7's.. I did manage to hit a 13.686 with crazy wheel spin on stockers.. That is the last pass with this setup since I got my E1 in today.. Can't wait to go again..

Get slicks,get the car tuned.Drop the psi to 12psi in the tires,launch at 4500-5000.Make sure you have solid motor mounts,and then WALA! 12's club.

haha I actually just ordered a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and flywheel.. Yeah man I got the slicks and will be looking for the 12's as soon as I get back to the track.. YAY!!
