Just got back from the track.. Pretty happy tonight
Well took the skittle to the track today to tune the fuel on her. figured its better to tune at the track than street tune and kill myself or someone else.
Here was our best run of the night
Tires: Blizzak low profile 17x7 Snow tires (reversed rotation for a lil more tracton) that were shaved down a bit.
So in other words.. This may be a record fastest Snow tired SRT-4 in the world
Traction was a serious issue as i was literally floating across the track 1st-3rd gear (0 traction) i was picking up between 20-25mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4 all night due to finally hooking up in 4th.. one pass i gained 32mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4
and this was on 101 octane and 27psi AFR's were 10.0-10.6 most of the way through the pull sometimes poking into 11.1-11.2's so she def. has room to pull some more fuel and add a few more psi
the only downside I have seen with my build is the car runs a little hotter than stock but that can be combated with my cooling mist kit i need to install today should drop my EGT's down a bit more. Im sitting at 1000-1100 cruising the hwy at 70 in traffic i sit at about 800 deg.
Great run on streets. You still on stock revlimit? Throw EMS, built head, and some slicks and you'll have an absolute monster! You can see my times in my sig, I'm running pretty much the same turbo but on stock block. I'm only on 23 psi and with my 94mph 1/8th trap I'm hoping to trap 123-125ish.
