Pablo and i were up late/early today just bs'ing bout the track event but he was still skeptical on how well the car would hook up. Bradenton Motorsports Park, Bradenton FL did an awesome job of prepping their 1320 for today's private track rental by FloridaNeons.org. Gates opened up at 9am and from then on it was steady stream of Neons and SRT4s pouring in from all parts of Florida. At one point we had over 50 SRT4s alone, best SRT turnout in Central FL thus far. Pablo really never let anyone know what car he was bringing up as his car is down but he did say there would be two cars him/shop put together attending. One is an Orange Blast 05' SRT4 with GT40 plus goodies that was just completed and the car pablo would pilot is pictured below:
again, this was NOT pablo's personal car but rather one he/his shop built for a customer who was unable to attend. During the event he was battling minor gremlins that would cause his problems getting down the track. He was running 11.04-11.45 most of the day when he got it off the line cleanly but the kill joy was that he had to shift into 4th to trap. When he'd shift the car would fall out of its efficiency range thus causing him to trap a lil low. After a few tweaks he and his crew were finally ready to see what could be done after they changed a few settings in hope he could take 3rd a lil longer. The results are as follows:

The MPH seems a bit low compared to the 104 in the 1/8 mile. Either way congrats on a great run
he had to shift into 4th which killed all his topend....the car would fall from its high boost setting to about 21-22psi.....thus effectively killing his mph at the trap
this car still has full interior, AC and was run on the stock wheels with KDW2s out back
if it wasnt cause they live 3-4hrs south im sure the car would have driven there and home. BTW the Dodge Ram pablo/crew came up in was freed of the trailer and posted some very respectable low 13s.....a quad cab...dually...long bed it Spanked a few SRT4s and gave some a damn good run
I had fun this weekend at the Florida Statewide dyno meet yesterday and the track today..I left just a little early and missed the 10 sec run but I heard about if from a couple of guys that showed up at Micky D's a little after us. Congrats to Lujan and to the owner of the car.
i think the best i ran was 13.6 couldnt get the damn clutch to disengage so my times were worthless but i guess personally its alright for a SOHC with stock everything basicly.... Hedmen Header, Intake, Cam stock computer and fuel system... but that silver srt4 was pretty bad ass.... the blue first gen what was his best i think i seen was low 13's..but was pretty good day..

Yeah, its also a full Haltech standalone with a way fucking bigger snail. I came here to give props, so I'm going to ignore any possible negative connotation you might be making against WhiteMtn's car. It was the first. It also only has a little old 50 trim and a dtec.
It was a GREAT Day at bradenton i wish there was alot more srt's peeps out their to witness this amazing car. congrats pablo and your team!!!!

no negative connotations man....im all for the milestones in the SRT/Neon community and i respect all the efforts out there trying to achieve their best. Im sure you guys will improve and post better times as will others but by no means did i intend any insult or bad connotation towards anyone
