Looked like you were improving til the last run. Those times aren't as bad as you think for a first time out. keep practicing, you'll get it.

Ya that's pretty bad but hey, I've seen people who routinely run high 14s in their modded srts and wear helmets doing it. Just promise me you'll sell the car before that happens.

Here's to getting better, practice practice practice.

I bought a 96 Neon ACR in January to learn how to drive a stick on. I sold it a month later and drove a old Chrysler for a while and then got the SRT-4 at the end of March of this year.

I don't like launching my car cause I know how much stress it puts on the components. I probably did about 5 launches since I have owned it prior to the track.

Another thing, my engine temps were 200ish when I was up. (Huge line, alot of idling and shutting the car off)

The car was dynod at 220 and 232 w/o SAE smoothing in June. K&N cai was the only mod at the time....

I had a great time out there and it was very fun being able to drive the car fast and not worry about cops.

I think I will stick to roll races in my econo box.

I will never sell my car.

I'm with you on the never selling your car part. Here's the vid of your run against the honda. I'm still uploading the other videos but my connection is sooo slow. I believe this is your first run of 3, but you will know better than I.

Not terrible times for being first time out. When you go again, drop the tire pressure on the fronts to around 22psi or so.... Or get some DRs. You might be able to drop your 60' then.

I will be going out next year. I will hopefully have an exhaust and a real BOV by then.

One question..When you are launching it do you get on the gas all the way or just go half throttle in first gear? Should I wait until 4k before I floor it? Looks like you can't floor it all with my setup in first.

I heard people shifting early to second.. is that an option to improve the 60 foot times too? I plan on lowering the tire pressure to the fronts next time and adding pressure to the rears.

IMO its funny watching FWD cars drag race as opposed to a RWD car.
