Default First time at track(first time even launching car).. 1/8 mile... traction>me

Well first run I wheel hopped like crazy and it popped out of first gear(wtf!?)

This was at a local track that is known for how horribly prepped it is.

My 60' times were 2.5 2 times in a row and I decided to leave. Friend with drag radials on his mustang was getting 2.4 60s and another srt4 2.3 60' times..... besides that I was disappointed with the times.

Should have just went to HRP in Houston and ran the quarter but thought I would practice a little launching. Kinda hard to practice when i felt my traction point and got a 2.5 60 lol Cadillac I ran had a 2.6 60' in this slip

60'- 2.5342
330'- 6.4338
1/8 et- 9.4921
1/8 mph- 81.76

With a 2.0 or a 2.1 what times should I be looking at? And not sure how these compare to 1/4 mile times so some input would be nice.

with that 1/8th mile time...like a 14.6...for every tenth you knock off you 60ft you typically gain 2 tenths up top.

well found out why my car popped out of gear on first run and i heard a clunk

Broken lower motor mount!

I was running with no bottom motor mount!!!! Have an oil leak now...

Been since friday driving it(so about 6 days)... car had a slight vibration when normal acceleration so I suspected something and check it out today. Sure enough this explains quiet a bit.

At the track I was spinning in every gear. It was raining all week and the track near here sucks balls so I decided I am going to HRP when I get my car fixed.
