Well guys after a long road of turbos (this is my 5th) and motors (this is my second) I finally broke into the 11's with my S256 turbo.Heres my mod list since I know thats probably the first thing your looking for...
- AGP S256 Turbo Kit,.63 AR.
- 3" SRI
- 3" TBE
- AEM EMS
- Dual Nozzle Methanol Setup (3 bar progressive, trunk mount).
- E.D. Super Beast FMIC
- Hardpipes
- Return Line
- RC 750's
- Fuel Pump Rewire
- DCR 255
- DCR Oil Mod
- PTP 55mm TB w/62mm spacer
- FBM Intake Mani
- Stock Longblock
- No Coilovers,Solid LCA's,H-Brace or Traction Bars.
- Modified 2004 Fuel Rail with -6AN fitting for return line - 24.5x8.5x15" slicks,12psi
- 2 step @ 4000rpms
- 402whp and 395wtq on pump gas at 25psi.
With a 1.9 60 ft (couldn't get out of the hole for shit) I barely broke into the 11's with an 11.99 @ 120mph.
I believe the car was choking on fuel out of the 2 step because every time I would come out hard the car would take off and then bog completely and then take off again. After that happened I tried every other way to launch the car, slipping the clutch, rolling off the line, etc. The trap speed is there so I know its capable of a mid 11 second pass but I just dont care anymore. The car will be parted out here shortly, its time for something else..
Heres the in car video of what im talking about when the car chokes off the line once its already getting out...
Yeah...crappy launch... at the light...but great run anyway. That car has a better ET just sitting there waiting for you to find it. What was the cars time next to you if you recall?

Yeah im on stock axles though so I wasn't trying to get out crazy hard and not to mention the car is NOT setup to 60 ft,see what I mean? The guys time next to me was 12.6 @ 109.Something was wrong with the 2 step as well and the car wasn't acting right with it. I had to slip the clutch out of the 2 step almost every time and THEN get on it because if I didn't,the car would take off for a second then BOG,then start going again.I think it was because the car was getting so rich in the 2 step that once it came out it was just dumping too much fuel but I could be wrong.
Nice run. You had the 2 step set too low. If I launch my car at 4000 it dies off of the line with slicks. set it up to about 4500 and go up from there. Your mph will go up because when you bog you lose some MPH. Why do something different? That car has 100 horses more still in it just by fine tuning it.

Todd, that wasn't the case. This is what happened...the week before I went to the track I had the 2 step set at 4000 rpm's and I was launching it on the street,on street tires fine. When I got to the track I set the 2 step at 4500rpm's and the car would bog.Not like your thinking though,im not saying RIGHT when I come out of the 2 step it would bog...im talking I would 2 step..come out hard then all of a sudden the car would bog.I have an in car video ill be hosting here in a second to show you what im talking about...after it did that I adjusted the 2 step lower (4000rpms) and it would STILL do it but you had to baby it out of the whole.

Ahahahaha, shit if the Soulja Boy was playing I would have been doing that like I was in a music video, lol.
In car video posted in first post, not sure what the problem is...listen carefully and you will see what im talking about.
ya n00b.....its cause you didnt courtesy stage for starters, you werent ready at the line and you barely 2 stepped.
Next time, courtesy stage which means trip the first set of bulbs and allow your opponent to do the same. If he rolls into the 2nd set you need to start 2 steeping before tripping your second set and without letting off the clutch too much u should be able to roll into the 2nd set of lights so that the starter can trigger the tree. OR you can roll into your 2nd set after courtesy staging so that you can 2 step to build boost while your opponent rolls in....
shift faster...cmon man i know you
11.9 @ 120 given that horrible launch is damn impressive, from outside the car it looked way better than from the inside.
BTW roll up ur damn window before the burn out sheesh

Man that was the first run of the night!! Lol,it was hott as balls and I was sick as fuck anyway, haha. And yeah that wasn't the 11.99 pass,I think that was like a 12.4 or some where in that area.I know what you mean,I could give a shit about my reaction time though.I wanted to focus on getting the car out carefully without breaking an axle. Can you see what im talking about though where it bogs?It wasn't me,it was the car...
Also...the reason I 2 step'd so quickly is because the longer I stay in the 2 step, the more fuel it dumps...the more fuel it dumped, the more the car bogged..see what I mean Dan?I found that out really quickly after 10+ passes down the track.
