Default THE BEST LAUNCH with a SRT 4

if yall havent tried this it is the easiest way to launc a srt 4. its kinda of like having an automatic transmission. anyways. so you pull up and burnout or what ever and get staged.

NOW pull up the e brake when staged

next rev the gas at like right above 1000 rpms

have the clutch barely out so that the car wants to launch forward but doesnt die cause the clutch is still in.

so ur car is lurking forward with the e brake on

then have ur hand on the e brake and ur thumb on the button on the e brake and have the car in first gear

when the light turns is at the last yellow throw the e brake down gas the hell out of it

then shift gears like normal.

let me know if this makes sense if it doesnt i can make it more specific.

my 60fts drastically changed and i tried this about 15 passes down the track and it works flawlessly.

thanks

Shit I just use my 2 step with no brake and it works great. The car doesnt move just shakes real bad from the 4500rpm redline.

I can predict my results now...floor it in first...wheelspin, shift to second...wheelspin, shift to third...wheelspin

I'll just stay away from the track

wont work with a big turbo. Too much lag then boost comes on and smokes the tires

yes pre loading the drive line causes less of a drastic impact on the whole setup when you dump the clutch. so you letting it out easier it gives the car a better shot to hook up. works at any rpm/5psd setup. you can also do the same thing by hold the clutch just far enough out that it wont move but it sure wants to. has the same effect. works great on saving axles too.
