Default 8.93 @ 81.68 in the 1/8th

I have a FM WGA set to about 14-15psi, Needswings V5 Downpipe with cutout, Injen SRI, and AGP Motor Mounts and tranny mount. I ran an 8.93 at our shitty track yesterday for my best time in the 1/8th ever. Should I be running faster than this with my mods. I'm on street tires with 18 inch rims too... At higher RPM's it seems like it was breaking up though only since I put the WGA on. My other times yesterday were 8.94 @ 81.23, 8.97 @ 82.16, 8.97 @ 82.43, and a 9.15 @ 81.68mph. The 9.15 was with a 2.3 60 ft and the other runs had 2.1x 60 ft. What would an 8.93 average out to be in the 1/4th with my mods?

Your 1/4 would be around 13.7...
It sounds like you have spark blow out, regap your plugs to like .035 and that breaking up should go away!

spark blow out, boost leaks and maybe driving style

to the OP dont take offense but stock SRT4s even with crappy 60s should still run 8.80s-9.1s

that being said please check your setup over very well cause with your mods the car should trap closer to 84mph and ET in the 1/8 between 8.5-8.7

then talk bout the neon, also 8.9s in a modded srt4 is slow sorry to break it ya but ive run 8.4-8.6s on street tires with 2.0-2.2 60s with similar mods as OP but im not comparing myself to him. Im just shedding light on the fact he should checkout his setup

What do you consider crappy? Personally, I'm a little embarrassed by most of mine. So hard to be consistent!

so as you admitted jbundrick....it was driving error on your behalf so why get all defensive.

Tell you what though, If you can run an 8.4 as your car sits now then i'll be impressed but we both know thats not gonna happen on the street tires so nvm

If you have power to the ground. Most stock srt4s around here run 9.4, 9.8's at that same speed with 2.2 to 2.4 60ft runs. Put the slicks on and run an 8.8 or 8.9. or add a wg and run 8.2.
