Default 1/8 mile time slip question...

i only have 1/8 mile tracks around here and im wondering if someone has the same mods as me....im an 03 with stg1, 3" tbe injen, jmb intake, msd wires, stg1 springs. agp mm...boosts 15psi, bfg gforce tires at 30 psi....best time i have gotten so far is an 8.9...does this sound right...what do you think full slicks would get me?

stock cars run 9.1-9.3s

so 8.9s isnt too bad but you can do better given the mods....should be in the 8.6-8.8s

im wondering if i kept the same power adders and did something like dr's or slicks with a wot box...i should be closer to mid 8's... im just trying to prove around here that high hp doesnt always win the race....

lower tire pressue to 24psi...then get back to us on ur times

That's a pretty good time. Get slicks it's way more fun and you'll be hitting mid-low 8's in no time

8.44@87 w 2.0 60' on BFG's, mods in sig.
Get a wga and up your boost, worry about traction later

my 1/8 is in my sig. thats intake, PTP WGA @ 18PSI, downpipe with cut-out, dogbone mounts and MH 23x8.5 slicks.

hopefully that helps some. you need to get 3PSI more on that thing and make sure there are NO boost leaks.

I dont get it i took mine to the track sat and my best time was a 9.31 @ 80 mph flat but CH is running a low 8 @ 84 mph? how does that happen?? CH what is your 330 ft time??
