Most of you know me as "RUSH" the Co Owner of TK Motorsports. However, I want to share my bio with all my customers. Most of you never realized that I am an active duty soldier.
After HS, I went to University of SC for one year and entered the military in 1989. After attending Jump School, I became a U.S. Army Paratrooper and spent 6 years in the 82nd Airborne jumping out of airplanes and climbing through the ranks to Staff Sergeant (E-6). Then, I became an Army Recruiter for 3 years (Sergeant First Class/E-7) in Philadephia, PA, a Platoon Sergeant in the 101st Airborne Division at Ft Campbell, KY for 2+ years, Senior Drill Sergeant at Fort Gordon, GA for 2 1/2 years, First Sergeant (E-8) for over 3+ years in Korea/Fort Gordon, GA. In my 19 years, I've been to combat, lived overseas, and endured the unpredictable life of a soldier. Recently, I was promoted to Sergeant Major (E-9/highest enlisted grade) and currently live in El Paso, TX attending the Sergeant's Major Academy. I have Bachelor's Degree in Business Administation and I currently have 1 class left to finish my Master's Degree (MBA).
I'm a fitness nut who pumps iron every other day and runs 4 miles-3 times a week.
I have a beautiful wife who is an Army Officer
I am Co Owner of TK Motorsports in Greensboro, NC. along with Nick. Our dear friend Tim Kim was the original owner of the shop and passed away almost a year ago. Nick and I stepped forward and kept the shop running in the memory of our friend Tim.
It's tough juggling a mililitary career and owning a shop. Everyday, I wake up and realize that Nick and I are living a dream.
I stand by quality parts, cheap prices, and customer service.
