And yeah I was there, I made it to the last 12 cars and the damn batteries went dead on me, so hopefully next year I'll be there in the old dependable blue bomb... TKMS FTW

Hey Rush, when My car is done and set up, see if Nick wants to take it to the track to let it rip. I want to see what the car can do on race tune and the slicks. I hope he still has them at the shop. I had only 2 visits to the track with them, then gave them to him on my way to NY. All he has to do is mount them and go, I wana see some slips b4 it gets here for all his hard work.
Well, wtf is up? Lets see, getting settled in Italy, missing my drives in the car, missing the car in general, getting ready to be a daddy, hating my job more and more, getting ready to hit the Alps for some sick runs, dreaming of next spring when i get to drive to Germany and take a few hot laps of the Nuremburg. Thats about it.
I have one of these, and think it is great, so far ,but have some questions. First, if the oil level gets even slightly low (like a pint), I will lose oil pressure under heavy braking. I assume it is that the oil is sloshing up the front of the pan and block, and there is no provision on this tray to stop it. Can a simple piece of metal flashing be added to the front of the tray? If it were put at a 45° angle down, it would become a 'press fit' to the front of the pan, and prevent oil from doing this.
Next, I know this sounds impractical, but looking at it, I think it could be done, could a version of this be built, that would still allow the balance shafts? I love the tray, but for a car that is a combination of a daily driver / weekend track rat, it is a bit hard to live with at times. Yes, I am getting old
