Future plans for TKMotorsports
As I stated in a previous thread, I will be moving to South Korea in July for 3 years which will have an impact on our normal operations. As most of you know, I am an active Army (bio is posted in another thread) and Nick is a full time Tech for Honda. So most of our business is conducted after hours and on our days off. Nick is unable to answer his phone at work, so I handle all of the phone orders/inquiries on a shop cell phone. With me moving to Korea in July, it will significantly impact our operations. In order to meet our customer needs, we will have to make some changes. We will be posting full details of our plan within the next month. However, I will state that I will be using a Vonage phone with a U.S. # to handle customer phone calls. Korea is 14 hours ahead of east coast time meaning 9am to 5pm on the east coast is 11pm to 7am in Korea. So I will be establishing hours of operations to communicate with customers. I will also be beefing up our website to meet customer order needs. Nick will continue the builds, tuning and making the custom TKMS parts. There will a slight outage of two weeks while I move in to my new place. After that, the average customer will not even notice any changes. Stay tuned to more details soon
