Default Turbo Timer in PT GT install q's driving me nuts

Anyways to make it kinda short which I am sure it won't this is the deal. Got a greddy turbo timer the full auto one... Anyways Went to install it today and had nothing but issues. First get all the wiring done and went to test it and nothing worked. NO power no nothing. Seen a little switch on the back so flipped it and now it comes on. SO I think everything is fine so I set the timer to like 10 seconds and shut the car off well the car shut off and so did the turbo timer. So I go testing power wires and all that stuff and everything comes out just like I was told in the install vid. I double check the wires and connections and I get power to the wires like they said I would on my multimeter. I ran home to get the video and my labtop as this was for a customer of mine as he is starting to get upset as I was installing the timer at his shop and prooved to him I am not a idiot and installed it just like I was told in the install instructions. So now he isn't as mad at me but still upset as the car only had 1000 miles on it.

Anyways I put the black to ground the red to red the vid said 2 reds in the one pin on the corner just pick one and I did that since they goto the same spot anyways, the blue to black with white strip and the green to the sky blue wire. Still nothing I thought let me rip the splice connectors out and see about direct wiring it still no go so I KNOW that it's not a connection problem as I tested the wires with the mulitmeter as well.

But anyways the stupid timer turns off when the car is off and won't keep the car running I have no idea if it's just a bad timer or what. If anyone has installed on let me know. It's a 05-06 PTGT with the HO motor in it. I have no idea what else to do and he made me rip it out and said he doesn't want that POS in his car. If anyone has any input let me know. Just hate it cause I spent the money for the timer I should of made him order the darn thing himself the I could of blamed it on him and still made him pay but since I ordered it I got jack squat and pissed with that stupid car for 7 hours today when it should of taken me under a hour to do it.

Auto or Manual? Is it hooked into the parking brake switch? If Auto, do you have the parking brake set when turning off the car?

Sounds like you hooked it up to a switched power supply instead.

Yeah, sounds like it is hooked to a power on with key wire. So does this mean you have a turbo timer for sale? Also be careful if it is an 06. That is a CAN vehicle and things may run completely different. They are a little more touchy and the wires could be a completely different color.

If it's just 10 seconds, wait it out yourself, the PT GT doesn't get nearly as hot as some engines in other cars that are turbocharged. I know you already spent the money but a turbo timer on a PT Cruiser doesn't make sense to me.
