Default Stock '03-'04 GT wheels

Hi,
Yup...the stock chrome GT wheels must be @ 23Lbs...I weighed the tire and wheel combo (stock Goodyears) and the total came in at 45.5 Lbs...I just bought a bundle package from Edgeracing, man these guys are great! Great prices and products...My new combo (enkei and Falkens) weighs in at 40 Lbs per corner and later when I can afford it I can probably shave another 4.5 Lbs from each corner by getting some 5Zigens. I can feel the difference now and later on down the road when I shave off more weight it will be even better.... too bad the stockers are so heavy and narrow. I like the looks but they are too heavy and rob power and mileage. Lookin to make this PT more efficient before I go to Stage 1... Nick
P.S. does anyone know how the vehicle is affected for every Lb of unsprung weight that is removed?

I've weighed them and unless my scale was off, the wheels are 25lbs a piece and the Badyears are 20-20.5lbs a piece.

I think there were 2 different style rims for GT's between 03-05. I have the
17X7 snowflake rims.

Then your one of the lucky ones. The snowflakes were mainly on the verts (though I have seen 2 hardtops on dealer lots, brand new with snowflakes), and came in 17x6 and 17x7. The standard GT wheel only ever came in 17x6... i don't know what the new 10 spoke wheel comes in, as it's ugly anyway...
