Default Quick video of the car...

Figured I'd post up a quick makeshift video of the car to show everybody that it actually does run and drive lol. The first part of the vid is kinda corny, I was going to edit some music in there but I got lazy so if you don't want to watch the corny part skip to about 2:10 into the vid. The car is on a laggy ass 57 trim + supporting mods at 23psi 91 octane and afrs from 10.8-11.6 which I need to work on. To show how laggy the turbo feels in 1st gear, the first run is WOT right off the line, the 2nd run on the turnaround is a 2nd to 1st downshift and the turbo spools quickly. The vid from outside the car is also a WOT run too. Once the car gets moving it's a beast, it just can't get out of it's own way in first. Hopefully a better tune will help out, but we'll see. Feedback always welcome!

No puddles, no leaks ANYWHERE it just stinks of fresh oil and I can't understand it. No burnt oil, no smoke, no puddles, no leaks, absolutely nothing to show that oil is leaking but I can smell it everywhere lol.

^^^^ what he said. I had an exhaust manifold gasket completely blowout on me at the track and I was still trapping 104mph on slicks. On stock turbo with slicks I trapped 92mph so I picked up 12mph but could only manage a 14.0 because I couldn't spool up off the line with a blown exhaust gasket. Replaced the gasket the other day and fired it up to make sure there were no leaks then shut the car off and grabbed my stuff for school, headed back out to the car and now it won't start. I've replaced the starter, it's got a brand new battery, I pulled the shield off the tranny and spun the flexplate so the motor's not froze...the fucker just doesn't want to run anymore. With a blown gasket on 17psi I dynoed 300/310 though on 91 octane. I was going for broke at the track with 110 octane plus 100% meth injection but the more I turned the boost up the worse it got because of that leak. I was aiming for 27psi at the track but could barely make 19. Hey jeff the guys at the kendall store kragen were making fun of your car today dude...better tell em what's up lol

I blew my first trans up at 22k miles on stock turbo + a few mods. As long as you don't boost in OD you'll be alright for awhile but yeah they are peices of shit that's for sure. I had mine built for me and I've beat the dog crap out of it for the last thousand miles, the only thing I could get it to do was break flexplates and destroy torque converter bolts (3 sets) but the trans seemed to hold up ok lol
