Where's a good place like modern performance to get catless PT GT downpipes and catback exhaust? like the SRT borla, and i need a UPP for a SSQ-V BOV. and an intake, WGA, Intercooler, pipes, damnit, i want a PT modernperformance.
Ebay is a nice place to go for an exhaust...typically they've got the mopar/borla set up in there. A custom exhaust from a local shop is the best way to go imo. WGA is the same as the srt so you can pick up an S2 wga or agp from the buy/sell section here. prototypepower.com is a good place for intake/uppercharge pipe combo. I believe exhaustdepot.com also has downpipes for the pt's...both catted and catless. And check ebay or here for the ssq. That should get'cha goin pretty good
awesome, have a baby on the way so my fiancee picked up a Turbo PT 5 spd instead of another SRT-4. pretty snappy i must say, anyone know some stock performance numbers with a 5spd? i've seen some 14.4's on 1/4 mile sites.
15.8-15.6 is stock for a 5 speed. I've run 14.4s in mine on street tires and as soon as the tranny gets put back together it should be in the mid to low 13s. Far from stock though as you can imagine! Congrats on the new baby too, my wife was due yesterday so it's just a waiting game now!
nice, anyone have a part number? i keep looking on the mopar site but it's saying the part number is going to be released soon.
They are wrong. 2005 is out, and 2006 is due out this month. If you want S1 new, deal with NO ONE besides Tommy Thrift at Haynes. He's the man for the lowest prices, and you WILL NOT find any better customer service. Here's a link: Stage 1 Click here and fill out the form...
There's a good bit of other stuff on his site as well.
Another place to get yourself to is PT Crew. That's where all the fastest GT's are. Lot's of good info. Check the Mod Bible section for a fairly universal upgrade path for the PT. Good luck...

awesome, thanks for the great info, i hate dealing with E-Bay, i've had alot of problems with parts from there in the past with the SRT-4. have you had any problems with the parts sites that you've listed?

Haynes Speed Shop nope never a problem, they were cool enough to overnight a part to me since i needed it for a show and the one I had originally ordered didn't fit.. Stupid thing the wings on the hood of the PT.. The pegs changed over the years.. Haynes just sent the different one and said when you get the chance send back the one that didn't fit no charge.. Haynes is way cool..

-The SRT down pipe will work, I have the E-Bay 3" SRT-4 catless one on my car (you need to add 6" of pipe to bolt to the catback, but if you plan on cutting out the reducer you need a section anyway)....
Is a great spot for performance mods, especially exhaust, they carry every type, and great service....
-WGA and all the turbo stuff is exactly the same as the SRT-4....
-There is no UCP for the PT flanged for anything, AGP use to carry them but noone bought them, you might find one used. Or you could buy a UCP from adam at www.prototypepower.com, and flange it yourself...
-The best intake is the stock box with a drop in filter with the silencers removed, there is a guy on PTcrew named Jim, that sells a turbo-inlet pipe under the company called AMX.... There is a big debate on if its better to use Jim's pipe or swap the whole unit. The TIP only works very well for me....
