Default how to run vac lines

looking for some info on how to run vac lines on a pt cruiser with a stage 2 wastegate. he doesn't have a boost gauge so its hard to say whats going on in there. i sold him the wastegate, he put it on and is having problems, says it boosts then drops it all. before i go down to help him what should i be looing for?
he only has some exhaust work done and he runs a 50 shot of nitrous.
and he's auto

any help would be great

thanks Steve

The Stage 2 WGA should be hooked up just as the stock one was, (unless he is running a MBC of course), so that the PCM will control PTB, where the SRT4 is usually adjusted to 4mm of preload, the PT should only be approx 2mm, as long as the mounting bracket has not been "adjusted" (bent), but, there is not much you can do without a boost gauge to see what is happening, it sounds as though there is so much boost that the wastgate flapper is blowing open and dumping all the boost pressure.
but again you cant tel with out a boost gauge, also he shoul have a AFR guage to make sure it is not going lean at the higher boost levels.

/\/\/\ And with spray the second mod should have been a wideband...you can run pretty darn lean in a hurry if you don't know what's goin on under the hood
