We are thinking of getting a stage 1 for the car but the 5hp and 10 fts it gives you,...... 500$, dont no if its worth it and to be honest Im afraid the car would slow down lol.

The nice part about S1 for me was at the time I bought it the price was only $329 from Hensen Motorsports. That being said, I'm in a turbo lite so my factory rated power was 185hp/210ft.lbs. Stage one, brings you up to what, 230hp/245ft.lbs I think? So for 320 bucks I gained 45hp and 35ft.lbs torque. Can't really argue with that

You are going by the '04 and back numbers, that were measured at the CRANK the late 230hp '05 and the '06 & '07 Stage 1 PCM gives you 235 hp & 275 ft-lbs torque at the WHEELS, this is printed on the spec sheet and was verified by by the Mopar Performance Hot line, and also by several '05 & '06 Stage 1 cars on the dyno, over on PT Crew.

If thats true I may get the stage 1. Right now the car puts down like 205hp and 215lbs thats a third gear pull , i think the boost is lowered in third alittle.

Not to mention that it changes the shift schedule on the autos and crispens it up.

I have seen this Cruiser run these times. It does it because of the driver and the RSA tires can cut 2.0 60fts. I've run 8.5 on these tires on 18lbs boost in my Neon with the stock turbo.
The Stage one doesn't give you much more Hp but the torque curve is flat and the car feel much more reactive to the throttle and is quicker to respond.

You actually get about half way down the track before I would start passing you on my avg. 14.5 run.

R/T-.559 (ZZZZZZ lol)
60'- 2.295 w/ no traction
330'-6.190
1/8-9.422
MPH-74.80
1000-12.190
1/4-14.536
MPH-96.02

Not my best run but something to compare to for ya and that was with 228whp/293ft.lbs

All we have near us is 1/8th mile (half track lol). If you work on your 60ft and 330 you will probably get near 9.20s and then a easy 14.2 or better 1/4mile. To many people worry about 1/4 mile times if you get the 1/8th down the 1/4 will only get better.

Yeah you didn't understand our track though it's horrible out here lol. I can't really compare to those track times anymore, because since then I have added almost 200whp to the car hahaha.

Is yours a auto? I think they have a huge advantage. The stick gt 06 ive seen run mid 10s in the 1/8th but a auto runs 9.9s same day, then my wifes ran 9.46. Looks like your 60ft is the problem whats the half, 660 or 1/8th time?

Just to back up the original time claims: I've got several passes of 14.6x @ 91.xx mph here at Crapifornia Dragway. Personal best was 14.489 @ 94.25 mph on a (relatively) cool morning run. This with a Turbo Lite running Stage 1 and BFG drag radials. I always cut high 2.0x or low 2.1x 60' times on my drag radials, regardless of what my 1/4 mile ETs look like.
