Default 1/4 mile stock 06

Well finally got to go to the 1/4 with my wifes 2006 auto gt. The car is stock except for the upper motor mount. This thing suprized the hell out of me on the RSAs that are factory it ran 14.69 at 91.4 MPH! Thats letting it shift. I had no idea that it would run that good I thought stock they were suppozed to run 15.4s. Let me no what you guys think that have PTs.

That MPH is way way low for a 14.6 are you sure it wasn't a 15.6?

I ran 4 times 14.69 14.82 14.80 14.86 all were 90 mph and its not low. In the 1/8 it ran 73.5 calc on 1/4 is 90 so its on the money. SRT-4s stock run 8.9 1/8 at 80 calc for 1/4 99/100 thats what they run, stock anyway.

Never heard of a stock gt breaking the 15 second barrier before. Congrats...now come out to SoCal and run mid 15s like all the normal stock GTs do lol

I've never seen a car run mid 14's@90-91MPH. Not unless you were cutting 1.8 or 1.9 60fts.

The closest thing I've seen to that was a 14.4@96 on a 1.93 60ft.

There are 3 guys in socal including myself who run 14.4-14.5s but one runs 91mph on slicks, 93mph on drag radials and almost 97mph on street tires. The slicks car ran 1.9 60s, and both the drag radialed car and the street tired car did 2.0 60s. BTW I was the street tires car lol

That kind of mirrors exactly what I said lol.

I can see a 1.8 or a 1.9 60ft car running 14.6@91, but not a 2.0x car...

Yeah pretty much the only other way to get a 14.6 @ 91 would be if you had a much faster car and missed a shift or somethin but like I said it's definitely possible. I just gotta figure out why I'm freakin 6mph faster at the top only a tenth slower off the line but still only 2 tenths faster at the end lol

Guys this is a auto car if you have been in one you would no that they shift like a granny. Inbetween shifts it must cut fuel/spark then gear change fuel/spark go. The car ran 14.69 at 91.4 mph dam. Oh most of you see the stock 03/04s run ,the late 05 and 06s and probably 07/08s are alittle stronger. When I drove it first pulls decent spins alitte at the top rev sec pulls harder then third kinda slacks off. I think the boost in first is probably around 10 sec 12 and third back to 10, not sure no gauge ,just going by feel.

whats your 1/8th that tells alot. take your 1/8 9.36 mutiply by 1.55 = 14.50 take your 1/8th mph 73.5 multiply by 1.24=91.14. this tells me Im pretty close this calcs are just a ballpark. Theres alot giong on in the middle off the track too and with turbo cars the boost is different every gear. Im betting your 1/8 is close to the same as this car maybe 9.15 so you need to work on 60 ft and 330 ft times and your 1/4 will follow. A tenth at 60ft can be worth 2 tenths at the big end .

My 1/8ths were in the 9.1-9.2 range, not sure what mph as I don't have any of my timeslips handy. BTW, all 3 cars raced that I told you about previously were all automatics

9.1/9.2 if your mph is up around 98/99 (Assuming your 1/8 mph is 79/80)you should be around 14.2 with your mph at 96 Id say 14.4 1/8th mph being around 77/78.
When I get home I will post the time slips she may have ran 2.0s 60 ft on the 14.69 run ,I didnt I ran like 2.13 1/4 was 14.82 90mph.
I think we may have the factory freak fo South Carolina the best Ive seen a stock Gt 06 run at the track was 9.9 at 68 mph same night My wifes ran 9.43 at 72 mph?

Definitely a factory freak alright...which is always a good thing! On a halfway decent day with ZERO traction I was running 9.4s at 75.5mph in the 1/8th with a crappy 2.3 60 time. The funny part is by the time I got to the end of the track it was good for 14.5s at 96.3mph. This was all done with S1, VAK, 2.5" exhaust, 3" DP, agp wga, plugs, wires, and meth injection. My car was kinda like a freight train...took forever to get off the line but picked up speed pretty quickly. I never could put a decent time infront of my already decent traps. I need to get out to the track here soon now that the 50 trim is on and I'm trying to make 400whp on race gas 24psi with a 200lb. weight redux
