Will this kit work with all versions of the AeroForce Interceptor?
Like most Bosch wideband O2 sensor kits you do not have to perform a calibration because the sensor is calibrated after production by adding a specific trim resistor to normalize the output of the particular sensor. However, the controller in our kit has a calibration button that we recommend you use after installation and approxiately twice per year which will correct any offsets in the output of the sensor. This calibration is done with the key on/engine off. The sensor we use is the new LSU4.9 sensor which operates with a unique chipset which handles the duties of calibration and signal conditioning better than the older analog circuits used with the LSU4.2 sensors.
It will work with any of the Aeroforce gauges that have analog inputs. The instructions with the wideband kit describe how to make the connections and set up the gauge to read A/F ratio or lambda.
