I can't hear the video well right now...is the cyclic scan rate programmable? Any pause option? Once you set those parameters, the gauge remembers each time you turn on the car right?
If I'd upgrade my pro to a dual setup, would both gauges have this option?
Yes, the cyclic scan rate is programmable, and all you do is hit either button to stop the cycle at the current parameters. The gauge recalls the state when the car was turned off, so if you are in cyclic scan it will come back on and continue in this mode with the settings and parameters you last chose.

Open loop means the PCM is not looking at the O2 sensors and keeping A/F ratio at 14.7. Normal operation is closed loop. Certain conditions will cause the car to leave closed loop, including high engine loads, cold motor, and fault conditions. Under normal idle/cruise conditions you want to be in closed loop for best fuel economy and operation.
Can you give us more information about the close/open loop indication and how the ambient temperature display will be more accurate.
Read above concerning closed/open loop.
When we first found the ambient temp parameter it was the actual voltage out of the sensor, not a PCM converted temperature unit. We determined a voltage to temperature conversion to the best of our ability. Now we have found the actual temperature, not voltage, parameter from from the PCM and are using that so it's as good as it can get.
it's just one more info, it's kind of obvious when you have a wide band
14.7 when in closed loop, pcm control afr with the o2 sensor (normal driving, engine hot)
open loop any other afr the pcm just do what is told to do he does verivy the result
can help to confirm if o2 is really dead
the more info you have the better it is
I need to see if mine is upgradable, but i'll probably be just selling it off and buying a duel setup anyway. You guys can read fuel pressure and oil pressure by using extra senders, right?
So let's say you have an electronic fuel pressure guage, how owuld it display? voltage & you have to do the conversion in your head? It would be really cool if you could enter the conversion somewhere so it displays psi when reading x volts. Build a table or something. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it probably does, the old version were doing it, but you could not change the label
How does it do the air to fuel ratio? Do you need wire in a sensor. Also I have the 2 gauge setup so is it 20 per gauge to Upgrade? I bought mine in July of 07 so I am guessing they are the newer version!

you need a external wide band, like lc-1
there are looking into building a kit but i'm not sure it's out yet
