Basically we've added cyclic scan, annunciator (let's you set warning lights for any parameter, not just RPM (shiftlight), labels for analog inputs, and a misfire screen that shows all 4 cylinders and current misfires.
Also, the ambient air temp is more accurate, and open/closed loop fueling indication has been added.
In order to upgrade an older gauge to this new firmware it has too look like this in the back (ignore part number):
These have been available since June of 2007. They have the needed memory for these new functions.
Defending a NEON is like sticking up for the fat red headed kid with freckles at school. Sure you may make a symbolic point and even feel better yourself, but come on, it is what it is. When people chuckle at me and ask your 35 and drive a souped up NEON? Im like "yep" and smile back. Reality owns you my friend.

The cyclic scan is a menu option, you can turn it on/off and use the normal scan mode that you have now. The annunciator can also be turned on/off.
wow, the cyclic scan is the coolest option yet!
I can't hear the video well right now...is the cyclic scan rate programmable? Any pause option? Once you set those parameters, the gauge remembers each time you turn on the car right?
If I'd upgrade my pro to a dual setup, would both gauges have this option?

selling my S2 PCM, WGA, new Boomba mani gasket, PM me
if i remember correclty only the gage built after july 2007 will be able to be upgraded to this tune ???
shit i got the original version
and maybe for futur version...would it be possible to stick ou a tini connector kind like the voltage input, connected to the led or kind that would change at the same time, so i would be able to activate an external relay or a transistor circuit
lets say i dream ....i could get a flow sensor from aquamist and hook the output to the gages, and use the output of the gage to drive my fail safe device
i know there is a thousand thing you could put in that gage, it's always best to keep it simple
