Default Is there something wrong with my Scan Gauge?

Gauge functions GREAT...only problem is the analog input(s). I ran my AEM UEGO's white wire to the gauge's first input, setup the intercept and slope correctly, and it reads WAY off. I did lots of research into this and most notably the cause was a bad ground? Or the ground not being common with the PCM ground...so, instead of grounding where the fuse box is in the cabin, I ran a 10 gauge wire from inside the cabin (acting as the widebands ground) through the engine bay and grounded it right next to the PCM's ground. Surface paint was stripped/dielectric greace to keep it clean. Car has the 'big' 3 grounds, no electrical drain on the battery when it's off, and it's still pretty far off...any ideas?

I don't know how to adjust it to read the same...I did the intercept and slope according to that and it's still WAY off...perhaps the white wire is having some sort of interference?

What did you enter for slope and intercept?

What is the gauge reading vs the AEM?

You guys need to give more info, there's nothing to go on here...

What is the voltage on the white wire? If you don't know this I can't help you.

What is the AEM reading vs the Interceptor?

Thread jack... Thanks for giving me an answer in my thread(sarcasm) Maybe you guys should put some instructions and everything about the scangauge in the box when you ship it. Like I said, my gauges aren't working and I'm still not getting a reply. They are only powered by the OBDII port right? I plug mine in and they DON'T work. I said I was getting upset well... now I am.

well, the output on the wideband is 2.78 volts, but as soon as I connect the white wire, the voltage drops to 0.8. If I unplug the scangauge from the obd2 port, the voltage goes back up to 2.78.

Im just gonna use the second input...I dont know why the scangauge causes the voltage drop

I have been responding. Your last question was about pdf files, there are more appropriate places to get that answered than here at the Aeroforce forum. I am not an expert on problems with reading standard pdf files.

They only need to be powered by the OBD2 port.

There is a manual that comes with every gauge. It is called a "Quick Start Manual" and tells you everything you need to know to get started. The link to the full manual is given in there as well.

What isn't working on your gauges? All your misunderstandings have been addressed so far as I can tell.

Finally, I check our tech forum everyday, Aeroforce Technology Inc Technical Forums :: Index. If you need a faster response go there as suggested in the Quick Start manual.
